What are the different Rating Options

In this article, you will learn about the different options available for Ratings for your online audit.

The online audit platform currently has a number of different rating which can be selected for your Respondents to choose when completing their Audit.

Available in the Audit Details > Upate Details and/or Set Active section, there is a dropdown list for the Rating Scale.

RAG

The Red, Amber, Green scale is the most popular. Using the traffic light colour scheme to rate the question.  When looking at exports of reports, the different options have different values:

  1. Red

  2. Amber
  3. Green

1-5

The 1-5 allows you to pick five different options for your rating. The Respondement then picks the rating from the dropdown selector.

As you would expect the value shown if the reports matches the rating.

Note: Use of the Rating Options to provide Default Explanations is highly recommended to guide the Respondent when choosing their rating.

0-3

This scale allows you to pick four different rating options. An example might Blue, Red, Amber and Green. Where Blue could be matched to 0, if the option was not applicable to the Organisation, for example.

If you are using this scale, setting the Rating Options is vital to explain to the Respondent what they should pick.

Ofsted (1-3)

This is a legacy rating matching up to the old Ofsted ratings of:

  • Inadequate
  • Requires Improvement
  • Good
  • Outstanding

When looking at exports of reports, the different options have different values:

0. Not Met

1. Met
