Respondent Guide: How to update a reopened Audit
In this article, we will answer common questions about updating your Audit when it has been reopened for editing.
Q. Where do I find the Audit that needs updating?
A. Submitted audits that can be edited will appear under the heading Submitted and Updatable Audits.
Q. How do I update my Audit?
A. You will need to click on the Pencil icon in the Review/Respond column.
Q. My Audit already shows as 100% complete, do I need to update it?
A. Your audit has already been submitted, so yes, it will show as 100%. However, in the update window, you will be able to edit any information you have supplied that might be relevant, such as completing actions.
Q. My audit is still showing in my Your Audits section, and I can't edit it.
A. This is because the Due Date has passed, you will need to contact the Audit team to extend your Due Date.
Q. My Audit is under the Submitted and Updatable Audits heading, but I have an Eye Icon, not a Pencil. Why is that?
A. This is either that the Reopen Date for the Audit has not yet passed, or the Final Close Date has already passed.
Q. When I have made a change, how do I save that?
A. In the same way as you did when completing the Audit, click on the Save Response button on the right hand side.
Q. How do I complete my actions?
A. Once you are editing the audit, locate the question in the correct section and open it. Click on the green tick icon. The screen will change to show a Completed Action Comments’ box, update accordingly with a narrative commentary. Then select a Date Completed and click on the Confirm Complete button.
Q. I have made all the changes I need to. However, there is no Final Submission button, what should I do?
A. As you have already submitted, there is no Final Submission button. Simply ensure you have saved all your updates by clicking on the Save Response button.
Q. Can I keep making amendments to the Audit?
A. You will be able to update the Audit as many times as you want to, until the Final Close Date has passed.
