How do I create a Poll on my website?

Polls are an exciting optional feature that can elevate your website experience. If you're interested in learning more, don't hesitate to contact your account manager for all the details!

Creating a Poll

Login as an Admin to your website. 

In the left-hand navigation click on the Polls option.

This will display a list of the Polls you have created already. 

To create a new Poll, click on the Add New Poll link at the top of the page.

On the Add New Poll page, complete the required information.

  • Title
  • Question
  • Answers
    If you need more options click on the Add Answer button. 
  • Expiry Date/Time
    This is a date and time picker

Once you have provided all the information you need, you can click on the Publish button.

Adding your Poll to a page

Now that the Poll has been created you need to add that Poll to a page. 

Edit the page you wish to add the Poll to, and then in the Layouts section, click on the Add Row button and select Polls.

In the Polls Layout tool, select the name of the Poll you want to add, it will move the left to the right of the table.

Then simply click on the Publish button and your Poll will be displayed on the chosen page.

Viewing your Poll results

When your Poll has expired (the date you added to the poll when you created it), or if you want to see the current results you can also do this from the Website Dashboard.

Login as an Admin to your website, and from the left-hand navigation click on the Polls > Results.

From the Polls Results page, click on the name of the Poll you want to view results for.

This will display the Number of votes and % of total votes for each Option in the Poll.
