The Matrix Option allows you to group answers to questions in a table format.
What does that mean? If you think of an Excel spreadsheet you will give the columns some headings and some rows so in this case, we are creating the column headings for your spreadsheet.
This allows you to have multiple underlying questions in a table format rather
then several questions (see the examples below).
To add a new matrix heading
- Select Matrix Heading on the left menu
- Select the plus sign to add a new Matrix.
- Enter a title, this would be the title of your matrix.
- Select the plus sign to add Heading, this could be your question.
- Choose the Response Type from drop-down.
- Text.
- Numeric
- Yes/No
- Long Text
- Type the number under Order, this is the order that your question will appear.
- Select add matrix.
