How to create and apply heading based restrictions

Heading Based Restrictions allows you as an admin user to prevent organisations by their heading i.e by borough. This can be useful when you want to limit an organisation to only have X amount of booking for a course.

Create Heading Based Restriction

  • To set this up click on the left-hand menu Organisations Type > Heading Based Booking Restrictions

  • Select Heading Based Booking Restrictions
  • You can select either "Match only" or "Match any":
    • Match only: The user must match every option that you have selected. If you select this, you can only pick one option from each section.
    • Match any: The user can be any of the options that you selected. If you select this, you can pick as many options as you like but this will widen how many users fit the criteria.

  • Tick which Organisation Types you want to restrict, in this case from Structure and Borough.
  • Select Add Restriction

Apply Heading Based Restriction

Once in your event, you want to restrict places select the + icon in your Event Occurrence.

  • Under the heading Places type in the maximum allowed, e.g. 5.
  • Under the header, Unlimited simply select No from the drop-down
    menu.
