How to see your Page views in Matomo Analytics

In this article, we cover the steps to view page visits in Matomo Analytics

This step-by-step guide will help you to see page views for your site in Matomo analytics.

You can either log in direct, or click on the View full reporting link in your WordPress Dashboard.

Click on the Behaviour link in the left-hand navigation. 

 

Next, click on Pages.

Information will load. You can then click on the Calendar icon to change the date.

 

In the Date Window, you can choose a Day, Week, Month, Year or a specific date range as you require. 

 

When you have selected this, click on the APPLY button 

 

The page will reload and display the results.

In the above example, the Pageviews and Unique Pageviews have been highlighted.

Pageviews:

This is the total number of times the page has been viewed. For example, if one person has viewed the page 10 times, it will be counted 10 times in this column.

Unique Pageviews

This is the number of unique views. For example, if one person has viewed the page 10 times, it will only count it once in this column.
