The newsletter report allows you to see a breakdown of emails that were delivered and undelivered.
You are able to keep track of the status of the newsletters you have sent out using the Reports option within the Newsletters area of the WP admin:
You will then see a list of all recent news letters sent from your site, and you will be able to view the status for them NB: report data will only be available for newsletters sent after 30th March 2023.:
Once you have clicked into one of the newsletter options, you will see the report displayed showing a breakdown of the status of all newsletters sent out:
Explanation of events:
- Bounced - newsletter undelivered as rejected by the receiving mail server
- Delivered - newsletter delivered successfully to recipient
- Dropped - newsletter undelivered as user has previously bounced, unsubscribed or reported the email as spam, or the address is invalid
- Processed - newsletter is in transit and is waiting to be delivered
