Why can't the delegate change their Answers in an elearning course retake?

Delegates sometimes have issues when they retake elearning courses or want to change their answer to a question in elearning. In this article, we look at why.

When you are creating a question in an elearning course, you need to choose whether or not to allow Multiple Choices

If you select No, then the question is set up with a Radio Button (round ones) where the delegate can only select one of the buttons. When coming to retake or change their answer, they can just click the other choice and it will change.

If you were to select Yes for Multiple Choice, it will allow the delegate to select more than one answer (if you allow this in the Answer limit dropdown).

When set to Yes, the Delegate will see a Checkbox (square box). To change this answer the Delegate will need to Unselect the choice they have already made first before it will allow them to select a new choice.

This can be confusing for Delegates as they think that the question is locked and they are unable to amend the choice.

Remember, they must unselect the choice first.
