Posts are best used for things like blogs, news stories, and event announcements. You can group posts with categories and tags and this article will show you how to create one.

- From the left-hand menu, go to Posts > Add New
- Enter the title of the post.
- The content of the article is inserted in the second labelled "2." above.
- To add media to your Post select Add Media
- You can select a item in your Media Library or Upload a file.
- To input the media into your post, select the button Insert into post.
- If a featured image is required on your post, there is an option on the right-hand sidebar entitled Featured Image.
- For a post to be assigned correctly a Category must be assigned. This can be done in the right hand menu box entitled Categories.
- Categories can be created new or if already created tick the box this Post is related to.
- To Preview what the Post will look like select Preview, this will not make the website live but will allow you to view this Post as a user.
- Once completed to Publish your post select Publish, if your Post is a draft it be Saved as a Draft.
